In this issue, we talk about our latest project at Bazhong Airport, introduce you to our team and test your industry knowledge with our ‘Guess the Airport’ competition.

Our Latest Project at Bazhong Airport

Pollite are continuing to expand rapidly into new territories and have recently been awarded a number of contracts in China, with our partners SYT Siyuans Technologies. Our latest project is currently taking shape at the new Bazhong Airport in Western China, roughly 300km from the vibrant city of Chengdu.

The project proved to be a challenge, with a mast up to 20m required, and install locations challenging to access. Pollite therefore designed a bespoke mast which can be installed on a concrete platform and can be hinged at the centre for easy maintenance.

Hopefully in future issues, we will be able to report after successful installation and commissioning!

New Approach for Hurghada

Take a look at the amazing images below of Pollite approach masts installed at Hurghada airport in Egypt.

The Airport has been undergoing a major construction project and Pollite were chosen to design and manufacture the frangible structures for the approach lighting.

The project at the Red Sea resort is one of our first in Egypt, and we are hoping to build on this going forward with our local partner Cairo Engineering Equipment. The long-established company have built a solid reputation for representing a wide range of foreign companies in the airport and transportation fields and provide the best and the most accurate after sales services to ensure its clients best care and service.

WDI at Turkmenabat

Another world leading, LED internally lit WDI has been successfully installed and commissioned at Turkmenabat Airport in Turkmenistan. Working with our partners Energosintez 2006, the internally lit unit was chosen for its maintenance free design, longevity and easy installation.

Pollite WDIs have been installed across the globe and are fully tested and approved to ICAO regulations. Further details can be found by clicking here. Alternatively, email
